Who is the greatest Buffalo Bill of all time, and why? :feedback:

Tough call- it could be any number of players from the early 90's SB teams, or OJ Simpson, but I'd have to go with Bruce Smith- he was truly dominant in his position and didn't murder anyone.

Not having seen any of the 70's and prior teams, I like Smith or thurman. Ryan Denny is a close second though

Or Todd Collins- he could really pick defenses apart.

Yeah Jim Kelly is definitely up there. The reason I went with Bruce is because he left Buffalo when his play declined. Kelly had a few bad years as a Bill at the end of his career- Bruce's bad years were in a Redskins uniform.

Not to take anything away from Kelly's accomplishments- Bruce just got lucky that his play didn't really decline until after he left the Bills.

Jim Kelly - idolized him growing up, Started watching Buffalo when I was 11 (89 season) and was just in awe of kelly. Started watching old College/USFL games and always followed his play/career religiously.

Great Competitor, great person, great man.

Tasker is, without a doubt, the most underrated and underappreciated player in Bills history.

not to say he was the best by any means, but I really liked Don Bebe as a player to represent what the Bills stood for.

Underappreciated would be OJ, It took 20 yrs for sports fans to understand what a feat 2000 yds in a season meant. Greatest single season of any RB in the history of the NFL.

Greatest RB ever. Period.

Too bad you turned out to be a murderer.

for me it would be a tie between Thurman Thomas and Jim Kelly, and as for the why look at what they did for this team.

Thurman, Jim Kelly, and Steve Tasker all tie in my book. Tasker really impressed me with his WR skills along with ST he was a truly dominant player.
