Think they got cold feet because of the internet?

Since most message board traffic has been negative, do you think that TD and Ralph got cold feet?

I doubt it too but I DO believe they are aware of how fast news travels given the internet and are now extra careful to put thinks out there before the deal is officially done. That goes for all sports teams.

I doubt they read messsage boards, but the media reaction hasn't exactly been bubbling over with joy.

Maybe Mularkey is having second thoughts since he isn't getting a warm fuzzy from the media and fans?

I think they float things all the time (mostly by Brian H) to see what the reaction will be.

I doubt they give one flying f**k about what we think.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

OK, I've had some time to let this soak in, but I'm still not happy. At the same time I'm willing to give Mularkey 1 year. Not 2 or 3 years. (ONE YEAR) Let's see who MM hires for his coaching staff and TD does with the draft and Free Agency. I still am undecided about renewing my season tickets.

Don't let them fool you. They most certainly do keep an eye on what is being said over the internet and all other forms of media. With that being said it doesn't mean it sways their decisions.

Only if he cared about the pompous opinions of a poster from a Chicago.
