well, les is under contract, and i wouldnt think that they would want to let him go, considering that he fixed travis's fumbling problem (only 2 lost last season) and the backs played hard, even when injured. he is official because he is still under contract, so unless he is fired....

i didnt list the defensive guys as official because it looks like there still may be some turn over there, based on how washington is pursuing them.

I think Jim McNally and Tom Clements are official. Mularkey has indicated he has plans to meet with LeBeau, and made it known he would like LeBeau to be his DC. Pittsburgh is also pursuing him for the same post. Clements has indicated a desire to keep the defensive staff as intact as possible, but I don't think they'll keep both Gray and LeBeau. Gray won't take a demotion and LeBeau has indicated a certain frustration at not being able to call the game last year, a job that belongs to a coordinator. I think Don Blackmon and Tim Krumrie are especially high on Mularkey's defensive wish list. I assume he'll want Rusty Jones too. Ruel and Gilbride are both definitely gone. I don't know the status of the remainder of the offensive staff or Mularkey's mindset. That's my best assessment of the situation at the moment.

All the people that are gone needed to get canned - especially the OL and Safeties guys ... and ESPECIALLY Gilbride.

Alright, I'm gonna give Mularkey the benefit of the doubt - no, he wasn't my top choice, but at least TD went out and got an offensive minded guy who brought in perhaps the best OL coach in the game today. I expect results almost immediately - by week 6 we'd better have our act together and be winning consistently.

I hope so because I'm concerned the Redskins will raid our mascot just like they went after our coaches and Jets players last year.
