    Johnson latest Packers’ casualty

Wonder how "weak" the Pack will be when we visit their house.......

The Green Bay Packers’ celebrated bookends are on the shelf. Defensive end Joe Johnson’s season is almost certainly over as he needs an operation to repair his left triceps muscle, which he tore in the Packers’ 34-21 victory over the Chicago Bears on Monday night.

    it's official, he's out.

Packers defensive end Joe Johnson will miss the rest of the season after tearing his left triceps muscle in Green Bay's 34-21 victory over the Chicago Bears on Monday night.

"He's out," coach Mike Sherman said Tuesday night. "I'll put him on injured reserve tomorrow. . . . In talking to the doctors, I just know it would be difficult to come back this season."

The Green Bay Packers head into Sunday's game against the New England Patriots with a banged up secondary. Six defensive backs are listed on this week's injury report.
