So, with lebeau going to Pitts who will be our new DC?

Any ideas? I know Wade is out there but he isn't coming back...

Who can we get? Will Jerry Gray take the job?

That would be intriguing...I don't think he got a fair shake in AZ and would like to hear what he has...maybe Dick Jouran??

Isn't Gray still under contract? If so, why would he have to "take" his own job?

Exactly. He is still the DC. I don't know why we'd have to re-offer it to him since he's already it.

Does anyone want to see this D go back down the drain? With DL gone that is what will happen, it will look like the 2 previos years gray was here.

and as for Lebeau ...he was with us as an Assistant Head Coach...he wasnt our Defensive Coordinator....so it wasnt a lateral move.

i still think lebeau had his hand in the D and the scheme even though he was the assistant coach, so if we keep gray hopefully he'll of learned something from lebeau

Umm...No. LeBeau didn't have that much of an impact. All he did was to institute the Zone Blitz, but he didn't call the game. And the previous 2 years Gray was here, his problem was lack of talent. Voila, the talent shows up, the defense is better.
