Don't know who will move but I am convinced that McNally will start the 5 best o-linemen on game day and really improve there play.

For a #4 pick Mike Williams is looking like a bust......Sad to say but true. Does he play like a #4? Maybe another season will help him. Maybe Jim McNally will fix him.

Simply by subtracting KG and Pat Ruel from the equation, you're going to see improvement in the O-line play. These oast two seasons under KG as OC have been abyssmal, to say the least. I saw far and away too many offenses that did a lot more with a lot less talent. NE's offensive scheme is nothing special-except that it is very simple; basic. It minimizes the opportunities for mistakes. In KG's system, the QB had to make 9-15 reads, depending on how each receiver read every coverage. Cut that down to 3-4 reads and your entire offense looks like it's really on the same page every play-as it should be.
Someone said "What's he gonna turn out like?" Ha!
And someone else said "Never mind!"

I agree with Helmut guy that the OL will be better with KG and Ruel gone. I haven't been this excited in an OL coach in a long time. The players never got better in recent years and never seem to play good as a unit. With McNally in charge and a simplified offensive scheme I wouldn't be surprised if Williams is a pro bowler by 2005...

It's going to be VERY interesting to see if Pucillo is around this year.

I still say that williams just isn't OT material.

He is more like OG material and needs to be moved inside to move some bodies around up front.

While Pucillo looked horrible and bush-league at the start of the season ... just before his injury I think he had improved a lot and looked merely well-below average. He still has a long way to go before he's a solid starter ... but keeping him as depth and hoping that in another year or two he'll be a capable starter is not a bad idea IMO.

I agree. I watched his play a lot after he helped sack Drew at the start of the Eagles game and I noticed marked improvement. Not enough that I think he's a very solid starter, but enough that he's worth continuing to look at.
