I would prefer a younger player player. I like Ty Law but woul rather go younger and have that player be with us for a while.

i think getting law would be a top notch 2 year fix.. that would give someone like mcgee or kevin thomas time to come around.. both of which have shown alot of progress at different times.

After what he did yesterday the price of poker just went up for Ty Law services. He is definately one of the best and will be paid top dollar. While he may be worth it for the next few years he would kill he would not leave the Bills a lot of room to fill the other, more needed holes.

He may be worth his salary the next couple of years but when his skills decline his salary will kill the team he goes to...If Buffalo signed him there will be no roomin the salary cap to fill the other holes on the Bills...Wishful thinking though

Actually Donahoe and co. already helped us get rid of most of our crap - though we do have a punter if you're interested.

We'll take Woody off your hands - if you don't franchise tag him.

Woody won't get the tag, they are letting him test the market. I hope he comes back, but the Pats may just let him go to save money.

Law isn't a free agent, he is under contract through the 2005 season. He has a high cap number, but the Pats are in good enough cap shape to carry him at that number if they wish. They likely will try to restructure the deal somehow.
