Unfortunatley they aren't any of the top 3 picks. Rodney Wright and Kevin Thomas signed. I'm really biting my nails here hoping that our top picks get signed and there aren't any major hold outs. :crazed:

Despite the legal troubles Wright signs, lets hope it doesnt bite us in the butt.

Reports are that because he had legal troubles he won't get a signing bonus. That means that if the Bills decide to cut him it will not affect the Bills in anyway.

Me too LOG. I hope these aren't all of todays signings, although I have a sinking feeling that they are.

Do seventh rounders get signing bonuses anyways? If so, isn't it normally minimal, like $10,000?

Yeah, all draft picks get singing bonuses. True it would have been minimal. But still thats $10,000 dollars that wright doesn't have because of some stupid thing that he did. All signing bonuses are accounted for in the sal cap too. All it basically means is that Wright only gets paid by the Bills if he makes the team. If he gets cut he would make no money what-so-ever. Lights a little fire under him, eh. :D

BillsRock is reporting that Thomas' deal will be worth $980,000 for 3 years with a $75,000. They said that wrights would be similar around $900,000 for 3 years just without the signing bonus. So to answer SoCal's question about how much seventh round draft picks bonuses are, they must be somewhere around $50,000-$60,000. Wow, Wright, really screwed up.
