Dan (Toronto): Mort, you rule! If the 2-3 Bills can get to 4-4 at the halfway point (Hou, Mia, Det), do you think Jerry Gray can straighten out the defense to make a playoff push?

Chris Mortensen: (1:35 PM ET ) Yeah, I think the Bills are a team to watch. The biggest thing about their defense is that it's young and inexperience. They go through some really good moments, and then one of the young guys makes a mistake. That's part of the growing pains. If I were a Bills fan, I would have been pretty excited about what I saw Sunday. They went toe-to-toe with the AFC's best - the Raiders - and were driving for a go-ahead score in the 4th quarter when their best player, Drew Bledsoe, through his worst pass of the year that turned the game around. All in all, that game should have encouraged Buffalo fans, not discouraged them.
