Their D is 5th in the AFC and that worries me

I'm a little scared about this game. The Texans have been working very hard to prepare for this game by having extra practices. They are also coming off of a bye week. They are fresh and hungry, and our D could be ripped apart.

Carr will exploit our weak corners, and go long all day. They have a churner for a RB,, so I'm not too worried about the run.

We could be in for a surprise on Sunday. I hope GW doesn't take them too lightly, or we could be in for a long day!

Just took a look at the numbers so, once again, this is ON PAPER...

Houston is giving up less than 200 yards a game. No, the Bills havent faced a defense the caliber of the Texans. More importantly, you haven't faced a pass defense the caliber of the Texans. New York, Denver, Chicago, Minnesota and Oakland all rank outside the top 15 in pass defense, Houston's top 10 at #8.
        AFC Defensive standings
        From ESPN's John Clayton:
        Houston Texans (1-3)
Dom Capers did it again. As he did in Carolina, he and general manager Charlie Casserley put together a competitive team. His 3-4 defense is tough to move against. It's filled with veterans who are starting to get the hang of his complicated scheme. On offense, everyone expected rookie quarterback David Carr to have his difficulties. Minus three starters on the offensive line, including tackles Tony Boselli and Ryan Young, Carr has been sacked 26 times. Carr has completed 44.9 percent of his passes and has six interceptions, but he still can come up with the big play to make it exciting. Like most expansion teams, wins are hard to find the first season. Add 14 draft choices and a second crack at the free agent market, and watch the Texans soar next season.
        Grade: B.
The Texans start 6 rookies on Offense. We have ZERO rookie starters on defense. Here are the Ex-Pro Bowlers the Texans start on defense:

Jamie Sharper Mac LB (led the AFC in tackles before the by~week)
        Gary Walker DE
        Aaron Glenn CB
        Keith Mitchell LB

Foreman is a lower level talent at the Buc (left inside linebacker) linebacker, but he DID lead the Bills in tackles last year.

          Texan fan-

How does Houston rank against the run?

I see this as being a great week for the Bills to balance their attack and destroy the Texans with a solid running game!
Argue like hell. Keep it clean. And when it's over, shake hands and root for our team!

The Bills are not looking past the Texans this week. Lets remember that they only have 1 win more then the Texans. This win is just as important to Buffalo as it is for Houston. It will be an interesting matchup. Flowers, Forman and Black will be eager to play their old team, but I can't believe that they will have much influence in this game.

Buffalo needs to tighten the belt defensivly and I think that they could have their best game so far this season. When it's all said and done the Bills should end up on top 27 - 17. Lower scoring then in past weeks and T Henry racks 'em up on the ground.

Jay Foreman is the only one that gets any signifigant playing time.
He is our weakest linebacker. I will give you someone to keep an EYE on however............. Number 98, Jeff Posey.

There will be a pocket full of Posey

Jamie Sharper has had his fair share of good games this seasons. He is racking stats like Fletcher SHOULD. (If only he was inserted into the proper D.) Sharper: 28 tackles / 10 assists / 2.5 sacks / 1 FF
