While listening to hockey hotline after another Sabres loss I heard a couple tidbits on the Bills assistant coach situation. The Bills are close to an agreement with Don Blackmon and talking with Tim Krumrie. They are also talking to a number of other candidates for other positions, particularly special teams coach where the listed candidates include Rodriquez (sorry-don't remember his first name) lately of the Seahawks and Bill Bates, lately of Dallas. I didn't catch the name of the third, but I think they said he has worked with the Rams. He may have the inside track because Mularkey has worked with him in the past.

I hope they get Bobby April here for an interview, so we can sign him before anyone decides to. We should've done that with Rodriguez, but we didn't...so now we better do it with April and get a Special Teams coach. That is a very important unit.
