But, Meatballs and Titans have nothing in common. Texans and Toxins, funny and close. Thumbtacks and Titans, well they start with a T....but where does the meatballs come from? I hate them too, I just wanna know why :D

GAWD!!!!!!!!!!!!http://nflarchives.com/images/titans/titans2R.gif You know, I did not PERSONALLY make this up. Houstonians HATE the Titans. The meatball reference is because of the round meatball shaped icon on their helmet. The SAME reason they are referred to as the Flaming Thumbtacks. It has NOTHING to do with the letter *T*. Also, the nickname Toxins, is in reference to our high pollution levels because of the MILES of Oil refineries along the Houston Ship Channel.
