greg jones just plowed over several people to get in the endzone on the next play... he crushed stuart schiegert from Purdue (FS) on the way in.

just a side note.. greg jones was in at FULLBACK on an earlier play for RB cobb.. how would you like to have greg jones at friggin FB? my god..

actually, spielman and marino spent a heck of alot of time talking to him.. and they like him alot... there is a good chance that he goes in the first by them.. since they dont have a second rounder... and they might have 2 firsts, since there is a good chance the Ogun leaves too.

Seriously, I know the O-man is a good DL, but would someone give up a #1 this season for him?

Last year you saw the Redskins give up a bunch of draft picks when they signed all those RFA's off the Jets- but considering how weak that draft was, it was worth it.

im pissed rivers is having (had) such a good game...i really dont think he is going to be there for us in round two. although we might be the ones who trade down a few spots and get him at 20 or so. :cry: i cant wait til the draft!

he lead the afc this year w/ 15 sacks and he wasnt a full time starter last year and 9.5 sacks. he has only been in the league 3 years. he will definately get taken imho... especially with the lack of good DE in FA and the draft.

if i felt like i had no other options at DE.. maybe, yes..

Unfortunately, you are not able to make that a draft day decision.
I bet Miami tenders him at the highest tender- $1.8 million- that will guarantee a 1 and a 3 for Miami if someone else signs him.

Michael Jenkins/ OSU WR has great hands, doesn't he? I read he's been the best of the wideouts at the Senior Bowl practices and he's made some nice catches here. He's probably earned himself some bling bling with his performances.

One wonders how much of that success is because you have to double Taylor on the other side and their secondary forces QBs to hold the ball a half second longer. I think he's a good player but not in the elite class of the top linemen in the game. He's already askin' for big money according to Miami media - I'll be shocked if the interested teams will also give up a 1st and 3rd. Then again, the falcons did show Peerless the money with similar questions about his true worth.

KIPER SEEMS TO THINK THAT HE DID OK.....Todd mcshay another scout says he needs work 2-3 years worth....but could be a steal

i still have to see for myself....one game doesn't make you a sure fire success or failure in the nfl......

i personally think he is very good.. he is actually better than taylor at this point.. and i think he would do incredible next to schobel.. but it wont happen.
