View Full Version : How are your 1rst round picks doing?

I'm in 6 leagues but the only one that I canmake $$$$ in I had the 2nd overall pick. I took Ahman Green! He Still has not scored a TD. I was waffling between him and Priest Holmes. I'm still in 2nd place but would be far ahead if I'd taken Holmes! Now I'm hoping he gets injured so I don't feel so bad!


How bout all you? Happy or mad with your #1's so far?

I took Bledsoe in the 5th round. Everyone thought I was nuts for taking him that high. Stupid Bear fans. I took Jim Miller in the 14th round just to spite them.

How is taking Jim Miller spiting them? I'd think they'd be thanking you...or laughing at you. :D

I took Priest Holmes over quite a few good RBs in my main league. It was a gamble that has definitely paid off.

i took p.holmes in the majority of my leagues.i can't complain.

It's sad because it's looking like...IF you had one of the top 5 picks....then odds are that he isn't doing well. I was looking at all the old lists and magazines...and this was the top 8 (not in any particular order).....

1. Marshall Faulk (Isn't getting the carries and seems depressed now)
2. Ahman Green (doing okay with yardage, but still no TDs.)
3. Kurt Warner (OUT for 8-10 weeks)
4. Shaun Alexander (Hopefully, he just woke up!)
5. Jeff Garcia (winning, but not getting the yardage or TDs)
6. Daunte Culpepper (only getting points from his scrambling)
7. Randy Moss (BUST/Deadbeat of the year!)
8. Terrell Owens (Why? WHY? Finally got a bunch of yardage and a couple TDs in the past couple weeks)

I took Garcia in the 1st round for both of my teams. Thank goodness I picked up Brady and Brunell too. Garcia has been a disappointment.

Not that my BZ league would convince you that I know anything, but NEVER take a QB in the first. :D

Hey Log,

Are you saying that picking K. Warner in the first round last year was a bad choice? If you can't get the top RB why not get the top QB.
