i doubt rivers falls to 2nd round and i rather not use our 13th on him if he's avail due to us needing to fill other needs first. i think losman had a great college career and his release is better and i think hes stronger maybe a less accurate, isn't he more mobile then rivers. in no way am i saying hes better then rivers but i don't think rivers is worth 13th and i think losman can be groomed our qb of future. and if losman is there in round 2 we should grab him

Losman most likely will still be picked before Rivers in everything I have read.

Losman will kind of remind you of Bledsoe. Moreso than Rivers.

I was listening to WGR yesterday and they had on a scout from ARLADS draft book and in their first mock draft he had Losman going 11th overall to Pittsburgh.

Losman is generally regarded as having better mechanics and more mobility than Rivers. Going in to the Senior Bowl, he was rated above Rivers by nearly every draft service.

I would take either one, but both might now be 1st round picks. I'm not sure we don't have more pressing needs in round 1.

How in the world do you get that assesment. You got stone shoes vs. a mobile QB. Both have strong arms and accucracy but thats about where the similarities end. Losman is confident (bordering on cocky) and seems to be a leader. Drew is a more let his play do the talking type guy. Also he cant move, did I mention that yet? Im seeing Rivers being ahead of Losman and him getting taken by the Dolphins, cause Marino is an ego and he wont wanna deal with a Losman type kid. Id love to nab Losman in round 2 and would consider it a great pick.

I would love to see Pittsburgh take Loseman. More talent we need falling to 13
