looks like he had a great rookie year, then has tailed off and was injuried for half the season last year, but still had 5 sacks in 8 games.

Howard reached incentives to trigger a voidable years clause. He will be UFA if not "tagged". It appears that the Saints will "franchise" him

He would be a good fit he's that big LDE that we need to stop the run and put occasional pressure on the QB.
