    Huddle Report most recent Mock...

Since nobody is making any picks in the BZ mock draft, this intrigued me. The most recent Huddle Report Mock Draft has our selections as this:

    1. DE Will Smith, Ohio St.
    2. QB JP Losman, Tulane
    3. OC Nick Leckey, Kansas St.
    4. OG Adrien Clark, Ohio St.
    5. WR Johnnie Morant, Syracuse
    6. S JR Reed, South Florida
    7. CB Kevin Milhouse, Hawaii

Let me just say that if this were our draft class, I would be so happy with it. From top to bottom its solid. Love this projection.

Will Smith at 13? Isn't he a small guy? He reminds me of Erik Flowers too much. I'd prefer to grab DE Hicks from the Chiefs in Free agency.

He's better than Erik Flowers but he isn't a Freeney or a Kearse either.

personally Id prefer Udeze over Smith, but I was just posting what he says, and Smith will be a solid DE, Udeze still has to develop some

Will Smith was about 240 in '02 but bulked up and played at 260-265 this past season. He's got good, not eyepopping, speed and quickness and is said to be strong for his size. Udeze used to play a lot of DT for USC and played at around 285-290. When he moved outside he dropped some weight and played in the 270s this past season. He times quite a bit slower than Smith but has long arms, handles blocks well and has a quick second step, so they say. They are about the same height. In fact Smith may be a fraction of an inch taller. What's not known, by us fans at least is what kind of frame Smith has. He put on 20+ lbs in one year and was effective. He might be at the upper end of what he can carry without losing quickness, or he could add another 20 lbs and be just as fast. They pay scouts to figure out which is more likely.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

Was it because he was a fat guy but then lost weight!

you don't have to weigh 280 to be effective at de in the nfl...Most speed rusher are on the lighter side 260-275 at the most ...Strahan weighs 275 on a good day.. So smith just needs to add about 10 lbs .. this can be done in the weigh room...

oh.. and will smith is one of the few guys that should go in the first round that i really dont want...

i would be very upset if the bills drafted any of the following...

                  Will smith
                  dangelo hall
                  Dunta Robinson

Yes but not everyone can just take off and put on weight without losing something. Look at Peppers he was concidered too light but he added maybe 10-15 Lbs an dlost nothing where you look at Erik Flowers who tries to add weight and it didn't help him at all. Well maybe Flowers was a bad example he sucked when he was on the light side as well.

i have a very good feeling about udeze... i dont think he will be a bill, but he will be an excellent nfl player.

Will Smith at 13 is a big mistake, he's to easy to shut down and he can't stop the run to save his life.

Our LDE's cannot seem to handle blocks too well. Will Smith be another LDE like this. His smallish size suggests so. I'd rather have Udeze any day of the week.
