All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

According to WGR55, Len Pasquerelli says Sam Wyche has accepted the position as Bills Quaterbacks coahc. Sorry, don't have a link, I heard it on the wasy to work about 20 minutes ago.
If this is true, this is AWESOME news!
"The government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it."
Ronald Reagan
40th president of US (1911 - 2004)
Yeah I was trying to listen to it but I was half a sleep I was working on a WR draft article late last night. If I eard right I thought he said he had a few offers from ohter teams. I hope he comes to our team though!
OK, I'll second guess...you hire Tom Clemens for his first OC job and then bring in a big time vet as the QB coach...Hopefully, Sam can keep his ego in check. It worked with LeBeau last year.
For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.
• Esiason's visit to the South Carolina farm of his former Cincinnati Bengals coach Sam Wyche, on the rebound after having to quit CBS when a vocal cord was accidentally sliced during a heart operation. ESPN's Chris Mortensen said Wyche is close to becoming the Buffalo Bills quarterback coach.
It would really be great for MM and TC to have Wyche helping with the offense. I don't see him so much as a threat to either, but as a guru/consultant/sounding board/voice of experience/seasoned veteran kind of guy. A kind of eccentric old uncle who has seen it all and can keep us out of major trouble. And a major help in Bledsoe's rehabilitation.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

If I recall- the bengals were heavilly reliant on play action.
In the pregame yesterday Boomer interviewed Wyche and Esiason said about the interview that Wyche will be in the headlines soon about coming back into the league as a QB coach to help some young QB.
Now I had a pops in me at the time and half listening so I may not have the exact but that was the gist of it....
