All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

We are still in need of a DB coach, when do you think we'll hire one and who do you think is available? I think this position is important I sure would like our DB's to not be 10 yards off there man any more. I sure hopw that it was GW's call on that and if it was Jerry Gray's call then he should know better he was a Pro Bowl DB? Thoughts on a new DB coach?
Originally posted by Winfield_26 Deion Sanders has expressed intrest in coaching, but also Gray was the DB coach in TEN so he may just assume the posistion himself.
Dieon Sanders being a Bills coach would put ME in a position - knees on floor, head over toilet, barfing.
Originally posted by to80td I would LOVE if Dieon was our DB coach.
He has 0 coaching experience 0. Deion had abilities in his body to do the things he did he just can't touch someone and all of a sudden they run a 4.2 and have hands of glue. He was a great player but I doubt he can translate that to coaching. If he is going to want to coach I think he should start out as a quality control coach and go from there.

How do you think coaches get their start? By coaching a position. He was an outstanding corner.
Contrary to popular opinion, he was a great teammate. This is from former teammates.
How do you know what he can or can't teach?
Quality control is actually a more in-depth position than what you would think. Well, at least according to Gruden's latest book.
A position coach - especially a position one played - is the perfect fit.
Lets face it, people don’t like him because of his style.
Originally posted by The Spaz Mike Mularkey got his start as a quality control coach and went on from there. A position coach I think is more detailed.
I don't think so.
Quality control guys are the ones who break down all the tapes and stuff.
A position guy - especially for a DB, would help develop players in the position and know their responsibilites.
