Don't really know but he has 25 years of coaching experience that works for me.

My guess is that it means that he helped coach the team but just was not being paid. Think of it as a "walk-on" coach.

I think familiarity with the Pats' secondary and their coverages will really help. I like the fact that we have coaches from a number of teams, including the Steelers, Giants, Rams, and Pats. Hopefully we can blend the best of each.

Hopefully this hire will mean the Bills corners actually challange the receivers more on the LOS. I am happy with this hire as well. Mularkey is the man!

any coaching tips we can steal from the pats is a good thing too.

A linebacker coach? I hope this means the Cornerbacks will be a lot more physical, especially Clements, who is meant for that kind of play.

Clements is pretty physical not like Winfield but not many are like that.

Couldn't agree more. Maybe he learned a few things from Belichek.

Weren't the Bills interested in him last year? I believe there was a thread started about him.

I think we have the talent on the corners to play with anyone, but I think the big problem is the defensive mindset. They need to play up and in the face of the WRs. Knock them off their route inside of 5 yards until the refs call it.

We need to change the attitude to be more aggressive BEFORE the catch, not just after it.

Szabo was working mostly with the Pats DL in training camp. The Pats haven't had a DL coach since Randy Melvin left 2 years ago. Romeo Crennel was a DL coach before becoming a coordinator, and the Pats interviewed Szabo last year to be the DL coach.

He wasn't hired, but was working with the team in training camp helping with the DL. I don't think he was around once the season started.
