All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
ESPN does this thing where they rank every sports franchise (121) in America based on a variety of factors. One of the factors is Coaching, and the Bills ranked 121st out of 121! Thanks GW!
THe Bills were 96th overall...click on the team name for a summary
I think ESPN has confused itself. How could Baltimore, Tennessee, ST Louis and Indianapolis have way higher ratings on Ownership than the Bills.....especially since Ownership includes the idea of loyalty to the city. Move a team and that indicates loyalty?
I have a real problem with several of their category rankings, including Ownership - where RW is one of the best and most loyal in all professional sports; Affordability - we have the 3rd lowest ticket prices in the NFL, which should translate to better than 51st overall; and the more subjective Fan Relations and Stadium Experience. I've lived in a few different places and have attended events in many stadiums and arenas, and I think the Bills stack up very well.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
The problem is...ESPN is using their fans from their site. The Bills fans that use their boards, got their heads up their asses and are not die hard like us.
