    ESPN Franchise Rankings

ESPN does this thing where they rank every sports franchise (121) in America based on a variety of factors. One of the factors is Coaching, and the Bills ranked 121st out of 121! Thanks GW!

THe Bills were 96th overall...click on the team name for a summary

it's an inexact science of course, but it's kind of interesting.

The Sabres are ahead of the Bills and they went bankrupt.

          Yankees#28?
          Red Sox#95?

I'd rather own those 2 then any other team ahead of them.

I think ESPN has confused itself. How could Baltimore, Tennessee, ST Louis and Indianapolis have way higher ratings on Ownership than the Bills.....especially since Ownership includes the idea of loyalty to the city. Move a team and that indicates loyalty?

I find it amusing that the Red Sox are #95. Uh, didn't they just come within a coaching decision of the World Series? And that manager is long gone.

                Definitely a bogus listing.
Still searching for that offensive rhythm.

Thank You, Terry and Kim, for Saving the Bills. Now, Work on the Sabres.

I have a real problem with several of their category rankings, including Ownership - where RW is one of the best and most loyal in all professional sports; Affordability - we have the 3rd lowest ticket prices in the NFL, which should translate to better than 51st overall; and the more subjective Fan Relations and Stadium Experience. I've lived in a few different places and have attended events in many stadiums and arenas, and I think the Bills stack up very well.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

This is from a fan poll, it isn't ESPN's thinking.

The fans are the dumb ones.

The problem is...ESPN is using their fans from their site. The Bills fans that use their boards, got their heads up their asses and are not die hard like us.
