    Jim McNally Has Made a Living Building Lines

    When Jim McNally began his NFL coaching career in 1980, there were only 28 teams in the league. The Colts were still in Baltimore, the Rams were in Los Angeles and the Cardinals called St. Louis home. For the past 24 seasons, McNally has been an offensive line coach with Cincinnati, Carolina and the New York Giants and has coached three hundred seventy-six regular season games in addition to 15 playoff games, including three Super Bowls.

    Believe it or not, all of that experience came about because McNally demonstrated that he could block Hall of Fame tackle and first-year Bengals head coach Forrest Gregg and, well, a few metal folding chairs.

    McNally has more OL talent in Buffalo than he has had in a long long time. Now that is scary!

          He seemed pretty knowledgable in ESPN's piece on the Giants rookie o-lineman, jeff roehl.
