NFL Draft Blitz on the Bills

Poor Takeo Spikes. He escapes the Bungles, err Bengals, and heads to the
chicken wing capital. In a cruel twist of fate, Cincinnati won eight games,
and the Bills only won six. But Takeo and Bills junkies need not worry, for
we have compiled 11 reasons why Our Team will be back in the playoffs next
season. In the ultimate display of optimism, here they are....

    11. Genius: Talk radio is polluted with morons, but the best yuks come when
disillusioned fans call for GM Tom Donahoe's head. All of the major free
agency moves (Spikes, Shaw, Posey, Adams, Milloy) immediately paid off, and
soon add McGahee to the mix. Fans say that Donahoe's selection of McGahee
was arrogant for an organization with holes to fill. The jury is out on
McGahee, but Donahoe is still one of the premier talent evaluators in the
league. He won't lose his Midas touch anytime soon.

    10. Gilbride's Gone: Remember, Donahoe compensated for the loss of Price
    and
Jay Remiersma by adding power blockers like TE Campbell and FB Gash. The
offense could have been efficient if coordinator Kevin Gilbride used a
run-oriented scheme to highlight his personnel better. Instead, Gilbride
thought a one-legged Eric Moulds and butter-fingered Josh Reed were better
options than pumping Travis Henry with 30 carries a game. Later, Kev.

    2. Free Agency: The AFC's most overrated lineman, Rueben Brown is gone and Antoine Williams may follow him.

Not a bad column. Other than the one mistake (Winfield not Williams) they voiced a lot of the same things that fill this board. It would be interesting to read an update.

Anybody know how often they do their team updates? The Bills article was 1/12.

"You heard it here first"? If WM is 100% it could happen, and we need an upgrade in the recievers.

I highly doubt he'll want to be a receiver and I really doubt we drafted him as one either.

Reference Article, Plax. Burrass for Henry in a package deal.

he meant the bit about us trading henry/pick for burress. If WM is 100% then hes saying they might do it. Least I assume.

Wow, what a statement about a potential future HOF!

Brown has been the rock on that line for years!

I for one am grateful we drafted in 1995.

P.S. ****! I fudged this post up. I was replying to the post underneath this one.

the is ZERO % chance we trade away henry this off season for anyone or anything. willis mcgahee, i hate to say it, hasnt proved a single thing so far. hell, for all we know, his knee didnt rehab super fast and might not be 100% by the beginning of this season. i cant believe anyone would think that wed be so quick to trade travis without a single play under mcgahee's belt
                      the dude abides

Travis Henry and a draft pick for Burress?? IMO we should be getting Burress and a draft pick for Henry.. If this did happen, then that means Reed goes back to #3..
