Sam Wyche is back in the game, doing what he loves. Coaching is in Wyche's blood and he's getting a fresh start with the Buffalo Bills as quarterbacks coach.
"This is a passion as well as a vocation," Wyche explained Tuesday afternoon. "When you get back into those comfortable environments, you get up in the morning, you've got deadlines to meet and you've got some place to go, your life is a lot more pleasant."..

I like him...

Wyche is a MONUMENTAL hiring. Not only will he help with the quarterbacking, but he will be a trusted counsel for a Rookie Head Coach.

The last I heard of Wyche, was a piece on Inside the NFL which showed him struggling to teach a High School class with his voice problems. I'm glad he's overcome them. He's good for the game in general.

BTW...In case anyone doesn't know, Wyche was one of Ferguson's backups in 1976, so he is technically already a Bills Alum.

If Williams had hired experienced assistants such as these, perhaps his legacy here would have been different.
