You gotta admit, that was one hell of a game. I liked it when the two guys were fighting with Moreau in the players box and the Thrasher on the ice. Classic hockey.

I know this maybe a bit off topic, but this is the reason there are so many slashing, highsticking and cross checking injuries. The NHL won't let the players settle this stuff the way it used to be. When someone would get hit with a high stick, the enforcer would jump the guy. Then we get the bench clearing brawl. A couple of guys get some 5 minute fighting penalties and it's all over.

The NHL will punish 2 goalies for fighting, but the slew foots, checks from behind and highsticking crap gets a guy maybe one game suspension. If they're not going to police the game, then let the players do it on the ice they way they used to.

Ok, now I'll get off my soapbox.
