I don't know if I like the concept of the NFL doing a mock draft when it is over...What is the fine line between the NFL Network and the NFL??

For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.

About the same difference as Walt Disney World and ABC

If I wanted to watch young boys run around in shorts and T-Shirts, I’d go watch gay Porno!

I'm actually pretty psyched about it. The combine often catapults guys to the top of the draft, and just as often drops out of sight. It'll be nice to see exactly what makes all these scouts and GMs Oooo and Ahhh over some of the players, while tossing in the towel on others.

Uhg. Although I'll probably watch due to withdrawl issues, I cannot put any credence into the Combine. What, exactly, does this controlled environment tell us about how a player will react in game situations? Who cares if they can run a 4.20 40 while no one is bumping, slapping, or attempting to tackle them?

I'll take their college game film, and even college practice reports, over this farce.
Still searching for that offensive rhythm.

I'll be watching. I'd like to see how the NFL presents the "Meat Market". An old neighbor of mine was familiar with the process. He was a college TE.
They won't be showing how the players get led around and are poked and prodded.

Tip: You can buy directv for the Ticket only and keep cable if you want. NFL Network is included with the Ticket.

They let you do that? Did you have to tell them anything special? I'd love to drop the, recently upped to $36+, monthly charge. D-TV doesn't offer local channels to me, so I have to keep cable around.

This is pretty cool stuff! I've always wondered what the combine was really like and how certain GMs became impressed with these players at the combine. I wonder what Ingtar thinks of this. Maybe he can explain some of the stuff that we are now watching on TV.
