On Saturday, before the daily doses of medicine and vitamins, before the lung treatments, inhaler and physical therapy, Hunter Kelly will get a kiss from mom and dad and a roomful of balloons.
It will be a time to celebrate first, then the family will get back to the challenging business of day-to-day living.
Hunter, the son of Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly and his wife Jill, turns 7 on Saturday. It's a remarkable milestone for a little boy who doctors said would die from Krabbe disease by the time he was 14 months old....
