The Briere saga in Phoenix is weird. He had a Hell of a year about 2 years ago, and seemed like the go-to-guy there. Then the season after (Last year), he looked lost. I'm not sure if Coach Francis told him to chill out and not shoot so much, or what, but he just wasn't really that great with the 'Yotes. Then, they deal him inexplicably for a lug like Gratton, and the rest is history. He's still a bit small for the NHL, IMO, but he plays his ass off on the ice. The Sabres should be fortunate they have him.
