How about Joey Galloway as a #2/3 WR?

He's had some down years due to injury, etc, but has speed and talent enough to take some pressure off of EM. If he's cut, I'd imagine that he'd come much cheaper than what Dallas had originally paid for him after having some good years in Seattle.

Here's some stats for those of you that live for them:

No thanks he's on the decline I would prefer to either get Darrell Jackson or just go in the deep draft of WR's this year to get a #2 or #3.

I like Jackson too, but Galloway would be cheaper than Jackson, I would imagine. Jackson will be a top FA WR who will expect to be the #1 somewhere (and get paid like it). I don't see TD bringing him in. If so, great, but I could see Galloway being a less expensive deep threat to take the pressure off of Moulds.

Well, the only thing that worries me here is if he starts to ***** and complain about not getting enough touches per game.

If the salary is reasonable and Josh does not improve, it might be logical to sign him during the season IF he is still available, which I doubt he will be.

Joey Galloway might be a big help- I still am not a quincy carter believer and if we have someone who can get downfield to make a catch- all the better for moulds. This would also open things up for reed over the middle again and our tight end and running game.. He may be on the decline, but so was Lofton and he still was a force to be reckoned with.

I think it's a good idea Jeff. He'll stretch the field, and he's not used to being the number 1 guy, so he won't have an attitude problem hopefully. Much cheaper than jackson.

Agreed, galloway has seen his best days, and his speed just really isn't that great anymore. I would rather take Darell Jackson or Drew Bennet.

I like Joey Galloway. He's my favorite player on the Cowboys since Troy left. I wouldn't say he's on the decline. He just had a bad year but I think he'll come back strong next year. I'm hoping the Cowboys keep him. But if they don't, I think he'd be a good addition to the Bills.

The 15.7 average is what's most interesting. Although in the end, I agree with Spaz on going after a WR in the draft.

Based on his age and disappointing production in Dallas, I would not break the bank to sign him, but if he'll sign for a reasonable amount (not much more than the vet minimum) and he's willing to compete in the whole mix of receivers, I can't see anything wrong with that.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

he still has speed.. he was so blazing fast at one point, that even if he is 80% of what he once was, that is still faster than most.

if he came cheap.. i would be more than happy to have him...

PRO: One of the game's most dangerous deep threats, Joey Galloway has the rare speed and game-breaking ability to go the distance from any point on the field. He has averaged a touchdown every 8.5 receptions throughout his eight-year career. His 7,609 career all-purpose yards in 104 games accounts for an average of 73.2 yards-per-game, and he has 16 career 100-yard receiving games. He has 47 receiving touchdowns in his career at an average distance of 32.5 yards-per-score.
