i think the northeast allready has proven that by the fact that the whole divison is over 500..... having the entire divison make the playoffs backs up the arguement that this is the strongest divison in hockey

So Detroit Can F- Off the only Reason They have so many Wins is Because they are in a division with Chicago and Columbus.. ewwww

did you see the Isles schedule??? They have Pittsburgh three times in the next 3 weeks...They might end up 6th.

Not to mention, they play Buffalo 2 times in 3 games. Obviously I want Buffalo to win, and the team is hot, but the Isles have owned Buffalo thus far this season.

I think we definitely have to look to jumping to 7th....

but I can't see the Isles doing much worse than they are now..they get points...even when they don't win...

we're the hottest team in the league the last 10 games or so...but the Isles have only 3 less points than us in that stretch....

we have to focus on the head-to-heads especially with Montreal...game in hand and 2 head-to-heads...

* on a side note about our division, not only is is the toughest but its the most loved by hockey traditionalists... 3 of the original 6, add another Canadian team from way back and throw in the most die-hard hockey city (except maybe Minneapolis) in the US

It's deceiving when we see that we're last in our division. Then you see that we're well above other teams (e.g. Florida) that are much better-seeded in their divisions.
I think it would rock if our whole division got in the playoffs. That would be so fun to watch.

the panthers are in a much weaker divison....thats why there in third atlanta is terriable the caps are too carolina is terriable and tampa bay has no southeast divison competition..... the panthers are ranked higher in thier divison simpliy because the southeast divison blows

Our division is the best in hockey. That goes without saying. All teams are above 500 and have a huge chance of making the playoffs. No other division comes close to that in competitivenes.
