    Combine Info!!

the rumors about Andrews were completely untrue.

Measurements: Shawn Andrews sized up to 6-4 366

    other notes...

    Offensive Line Lifts

The top prospects did not lift yet, as they are still getting MRI's.

At 225 pounds these players displayed there strength, and a couple showed weakness.

Stacy Andrews , showed his strength by pushing up 34 reps.

Josh Sewell also did well and managed 30 reps.

Nick Leckey and Joseph Hayes showed a weakness, and that is strength as they were only able to do 18 reps.

    Next Up: Running Backs

Maurice Clarett came in at 5'11.5 and 237 pounds, hands 9 1/4 ( small hands ) Looked good. Will NOT run, and his " Pro-Day - Workout" will be in the first week of April because he will not be allowed to work out during the Ohio State Pro-Day.

Clarence Farmer , looked very good just under 6'0 231 pounds and lifted 225 pounds 21 times.

Best lift: Tatum Bell - 225 pounds 25 times and weighed in at 212 pounds

Offensive Line: Quick Notes Straight from the Combine:

    Measurements:
Stacy Andrews ( Brother of Shawn ) sized up 6'6 340 with a 35 inch arm length

Vernon Carey Measured in at 6'4.5 335

    Robert Gallery 6'7 323

Most impressive looking offensive tackle this morning was Adrian Jones of Kansas , and most impressive guard Shannon Snell .

Biggest Disappointment: Nat Dorsey showed up with no muscle tone or physic.

              NFL Channel-

Rick Eisen gave a Tom Donahoe quote on Maurice Clarett-

"He's here but not working out. It was expected- but it's a joke. "

                Further details on Dozers post;

                Excerpt:
Donahoe thinks that could be difficult. He didn’t mince words when asked to compare Clarett’s uncertain future to that of Willis McGahee, who the Bills drafted in the first round last year despite a knee injury that kept him out of all 16 games last year.

“Let’s not put Clarett in the same category as McGahee,” Donahoe said. “That’s not fair to Willis. Willis attitude-wise and character-wise, that’s a big difference.”

I love it. TD does not mince words. I think Clarett will not be worth the trouble for the team that drafts him.

                    Gallery had 27 reps.

For someone who is 6'7 with long arms that is hardly a poor lift.

McNally was quoted as saying that he just looks like a football player.

We should be so lucky to have him.

i was reporting something i read there.. but unfortunately, they did not give the rep number, so i didnt know.. i would say that 27 reps is definately good if not better.. like you said, considering how long the guys arms are.
