Mularkey could be good for Bledsoe

Mike Mularkey has already made a name for himself by resurrecting the career of a quarterback drafted in the first round and thought to be washed up. Now he has to do it again.
Mularkey, the new Buffalo Bills coach, ought to have an easier time re-igniting Drew Bledsoe's career than he did in helping Tommy Maddox in Pittsburgh. Bledsoe has taken a team to the Super Bowl. Wide receiver Eric Moulds and running back Travis Henry are as good as what Mularkey had to work with in Pittsburgh (Hines Ward, Jerome Bettis)....

well, considering Belichek is a defensive guy and Mularkey coached on the offensive side of the ball...I'm confused as to where you're going with that statement.

If Bledsoe is at all salvagable, this staff should be able to do it. Not only did MM (and Clements) turn Kordell and Maddox around in Pittsburgh, but Clements made Grbac better in KC, and Wyche helped with Montana's development in SF.

Let's not forget that Esiason had his best years with Wyche, as well.
