Rivers wants to be a buffalo Bill

INDIANAPOLIS - The Buffalo Bills have the 13th pick in the NFL draft, and taking a quarterback is definitely a consideration.
North Carolina State star Philip Rivers is no politician, but he did a pretty good job Friday of lobbying to be the Bills' choice.

I like what he has to say here

"It would be great," Rivers said at the NFL Scouting Combine. "Jim Ritcher was a great center up there, his son was my teammate at N.C. State, so I've heard some good things about the place. But certainly Buffalo would be a great place, and you've got a great franchise and a great bunch of guys surrounding you."
    :pow: :horse: :100:

The only thing I don't like about him is he has to wear a visor like that QB that played and won the SB with the Bears & after that played with the Vikings for a few yrs. did what was his name?

            I'd take him over Volek.

Unless the Bills trade down I just can't see them taking another player that isn't going to make an immediate impact. I just can't see it. TD can't use two straight years drafting in the first round on future players. This team has the ability to win now and TD has to get someone here that will start.

                  What's he gonna say?

"I'd rather be drafted by a lower first round team, instead of the team with the #13 pick."

He wants to get picked as high as he can. The higher you are drafted the more money you will make.

I heard the Steelers weren't courting Rivers very heavy. I wonder if they have the staff to deal with Rivers delivery issues?

I Wonder how high of a pick they are willing to use on the position being that Brunell still seems to be servicable.

Pitts. almost have to do something about their RB position either through their first pick or FA.

                      I thought Ritcher played guard.
                      Beware the sack master!

                        Its all about the quest.

Richter was a center in college. He won the Outland Trophy as a center at NC State. His son is a FB for the team now.

Bryant McKinnie knew that he was a possibility on the Bills' draft list yet he kept talking about going to San Diego...who drafted after us.

Big difference between the 4th-5th spots and the 13th-20+ spots.
