When NBC's 2002-03 prime-time schedule was presented to advertisers in May, NBC Entertainment president Jeff Zucker said it would be the final season for the network's top-rated comedy.

But when Zucker appeared at the Television Critics Association press tour yesterday, he admitted he's holding onto the hope that the series could stick around longer.

I just want to see Ross and Rachel get together and stay together. Why can't there ever be a happy ending?

There are some good shows on TV, Northern. Have you ever watched CSI? That's a great show. And what about the 48 Hours, 20/20, Dateline shows? Those are usually interesting, informative and educational.

I wouldn't have a TV if there were no sports on...

Sorry Jaded, I do not watch any television. The only shows I watched were Drew, Simpsons and X Files. Now that X Files is off the air, I watch a whopping 1 hour of television a week.

I do not like News Magazine type shows due to their fluff nature. Sort of a cross between People and USA Today.

When Oz and the Sopranos start up, I will be up to 3 hours a week. Thats it.

I like those news type shows. I guess I like fluff. :)

Of course, you can't count sports as time in front of the Tee Vee. Especially since I go to sports bars for the Sunday morning and Monday night games.
