All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
...that the Bills have heated up the Drew Henson trade talks with Houston and probably will get it done for a 2005 2nd rounder. The only hurdle is the the Texans rookie cap and what they can sign Henson for. Well, it looks like there will be another Drew in town! Price is very reasonable and not giving up a draft choice this year is a pretty good deal.

Bills lead pursuit of Henson
The Bills are emerging as the lead team in a possible trade for Drew Henson. The Bills and Texans were scheduled to meet Sunday to work out an arrangement for Henson to visit this week.
For that to happen, the Bills would have to meet the trade requests for the rights to Henson. The Texans are asking for a second-round choice in 2005 or a third-rounder that could be upgraded to a No. 1 based on performance.
Five members of the Bills front office attended Henson's workout in Houston more than a week ago. The Browns and Packers were also considering becoming involved in trade discussions.
For any trade to happen, though, the new team would have to work out a contract with Henson's agent, Tom Condon. Henson missed the past three football seasons while he pursued a baseball career in the Yankees organization.
that the talks between buffalo and houston are really heating up and that he believe henson will end up in buf for a 2nd NEXt year. he pointed out that henson has an interview in buf and that if a contrat can be worked out a deal will be done soon.

the interesting thing is that houston must be somewhat flexible because everyone knows that they will not sign him and must trade him by draft day or he goes into the draft.
here is the issue... would we draft him in the 2nd round? if so, then why not trade for him now and not have to give up a pick until next year? it seems like a no brainer.
