Colts cash cuts?

With the colts having to find so much money to pay Peyton Manning can the Bills pick up a player that is just gone to save money?




The Colts also risk losing three other starters -- offensive linemen Ryan Diem and Rick DeMulling and cornerback Nick Harper -- who are all restricted free agents. Polian has not yet decided what offers to make to them.

If the Colts offer Diem, DeMulling and Harper low tenders, they would receive the same draft pick as the player. Diem was a fourth round choice and DeMulling a sixth-rounder, perhaps making them more attractive to other teams. The Colts would get no compensation for Harper, who was an undrafted free agent.



Guard Ryan Diem for a fourth round pick or CB Nick Harper for no compensation sound good.

Heres who the colts actually had to cut. Bratzke, Meadows and Huard. Meadows wuold be expensive but another available corner.

I would go after Diem for a 4th rd pick but to play G not T as he did for much of last season because he replaced Meadows at RT
