Dave Moore- saves about a million dollars
Pierson Prioleau-saves about a million
Izell Reese- saves about 3/4 of a million
Who do you think should be cut and easily replaced?

I agree with all of those and possible Sidney, AVP, Brown, Pucillo.

Yeah definitely Sidney. QB's I would say yes to both but more so to Brown. Pucillo is a good candidate for sure. Brown I agree with as well as he is due a 1.8 million dollar bonus the day the season starts just heard that on WNSA radio.

AVP isn't going anywhere. All the rest are fair game.

Moore--$1 mil
Prioleau--depending on when the workout bonus is payable--$600K
Reese--$750K
Sidney is a FA
AVP--if before 6/1--$600K
Brown-$1.8 mil
Pucillio-$380K
Remember to subtract $300K from these amount to make up for the person who replaces them on the roster.

Is Ruben unwilling to restructure? That would seem to be a better approach with him. None of the other guys mentioned would be missed too much.

He is quoted in Sunday's paper as willing to take a paycut.

Thanks, Phil. Let's keep him if that's the case.

I am hoping Ruben Brown's contract is reworked and he stays with the Bills

Me too. I think he needs a little anti-holding propaganda, but he is a seasoned vet.

his beef with the coaching staff is not longer and im sure he will be a bill. i like dave moore but not for 1 milion, he shuold be cut. and if we want to bring in a starter at FS, lets cut both PP and izell. we can convert a cb to back up there and nuefield did descent last year; he could fill in for moore. i really dont care if we cut them all besides ruben brown and we still need some line depth.

I've been calling for them to dump AVP for about five years now.

Ruben will stay I think. He seems like the true leader on the team......
I think he was just speaking his opinion.........ABOUT the
terrible coaching the Bills had last year....
BUT DO U BLAME HIM

Here's a link to the article on Ruben: http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20040222/1018807.asp
The most relevent :
"If the Bills release Brown before paying the bonus, then he will count $4 million against the cap. Brown is signed for three more years, through 2006, so his amortized bonuses would accelerate into this year's cap."
"Brown can take a cut in his base salary of $2.7 million. That would bring his cap cost to the Bills down, perhaps to about $5 million. But he can't cut it enough to make himself count less than $4 million. "
Ruben is probably gone.

I doubt it...we were weak enough at RG and C...we lose our LG, we're gonna be in serious trouble.
