Draft pick No. 13 just got luckier for Bills

    By Allen Wilson, Buffalo News
For the second time in three years, a guy named Mike Williams will impact the Buffalo Bills' draft.
First there was Mike Williams, the hulking University of Texas offensive tackle who went to the Bills with the fourth overall selection in 2002.

Now comes Mike Williams, the spectacular All-American wide receiver from co-national champion Southern California.

Taking advantage of the Maurice Clarett federal court decision that cleared the way for true sophomores to enter the draft, Williams the receiver decided to forgo his final two years of college eligibility to see how he measures up against the pros.

Just imagine what happens if the NFL gets a stay from the Federal Appeals court....I bet the other NFL teams will be pretty pissed that Mike williams won't be able to get drafted.

This is such a strong draft I wish the Bills had more early picks. New England Made a great move last year getting a 2nd first round pick.

Have you read stories on the decision?

Basically- the judge said age is not a good reason to keep someone out of the NFL. In a nutshell, if they are physically ready- then there should be no barrier.

I don't see how that can be overturned.

What will it say on the back of his jersey?

              #82 - "Fast" Williams
