Springfield Falcons - Formerly the Indians- created by Eddie Shore in the 1920's and run by him into the 1970's. Even Played on them when he wasn't busy with the NHL Bruins in the 1920's and 30's.

However- I don't see a huge jump in talent. A few guys like Miller, - but not a lot.

AHL games are great. The Amerks are really fun to watch. But teams that can only fit 6,000 people in a stadium won't take over from the NHL. Also, the guys are good, but they're still young and "learning".
