While a lot of trade rumours have revolved around Washington's Olaf Kolzig possibly going to the Toronto Maple Leafs, there is one option that Leaf fans haven't heard about yet.

Atlanta's Byron Dafoe could very well be on his way to Toronto.

As reported by USA Today's Kevin Allen on The NHL on TSN's Power Play discussion, a deal that would see Dafoe in blue and white would have already been done this week had he not injured his back after slipping on a patch of ice outside the Thrashers' hotel in Ottawa.

TSN's Gord Miller added that should the Leafs not be able to land Dafoe, the team could be tempted to head West - that is, to Anaheim for goaltender Martin Gerber.

According to Allen, the Ducks may also be looking to trade forward Vaclav Prospal, who signed a front loaded contract paying him $6.5 million this year, but $2.5 million next year.
