View Full Version : This whole Winfield thing pisses me off....

I was listening to Tom Donahoe's PC from today and he said this about Antoine Winfield and it just really irritated me.

We don't anticipate that Antoine will be back. Well, here's my feeling on it. When you approach somebody to talk to them about a contract and they have no interest in talking, it's usually a pretty good sign that they want to go somewhere else.

If Winfield felt this way all along, then fine! Don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out!

AW may be better off if he let's the market determine the price.
He can always come back with what the other teams offered and give Buffalo a chance to match it. It's in his best interest to at least see what the market will offer.

I would do the same thing, if I were him.

I could always use another oil change shirt.

I wouldn't be surprised if AW has a new team by this time next week. Players that are at the top of the list don't last long...

I know what you mean. The first couple of weeks of FA is when teams tend to overspend on free agents. He's not THAT indespensible for the Bills to get into a bidding war over.

Just keep it and wait til there's another decent Bill with his number, then have the name changed. Any local sports store will do it fairly cheap.

We need someone who not only knows how to tackle, but can actually pick off some passes. Wear your helmet kids.

Winfield is a scrub, he will go the way of Nate Odomes when he leaves... he was a C+ CB at best.

Or, we could just use duct tape and a marker, like we did for Ally and he RJ jersey!

Winfield is a punk. We don't need him, and he sucks in coverage anyways. I bet McGee turns out to be a better corner than him.

Winfield is an amazing tackler, Ill give him that.. I think that not having much INT's will hurt is price a bit..

He went to the "Marcellus Wiley School of Future Free Agency"

Winfield was packed last off-season when he sold he house. The first half of the season he played very well, but the second half his middle name was "toast" and I do not remember him playing the run as well. He was "guarding against injury" so as not to hurt his FA chances

See ya Antoine
