Are you going to bring in Drew Henson for a workout?
"We have not made any plans to do that at this particular time. We have interest in Drew Henson but we still have not been shown a way to do a contract that would make us comfortable. Until we can be shown that, it really doesn't serve any purpose to bring him in. We saw the workout. We had more people at the workout than anybody else in the league. We know what his abilities are."
Is there a priority of getting a young QB?
"We said all along that we want to do that and we just aren't sure how we are going to do it. It could be Drew Henson. It could be a free agent. It could be through the draft. It could be a college free agent. There are a lot of avenues to explore with it. We certainly feel that on our roster we need to get a young quarterback that we can begin to groom and begin to develop. We have to see how we do that."
Travis Brown isn't that guy?
"He could be. He's going to get another opportunity because of the new staff. The one thing we did feel when we brought Travis back at the end of last year was that he had improved. His accuracy had improved. He got a chance to play at the end of the Miami game and at the end of the New England game. He did some good things. He's still a young prospect. There are a lot of
Any other salary related moves?
"Probably not before Wednesday but there may be other moves as we go along."
What is your position on resigning Antoine Winfield?
"We don't anticipate that Antoine (Winfield) will be back. Here's my feeling on that. When you approach somebody to talk to them about a contract and they have no interest in talking it's usually a pretty good sign that they want to go somewhere else."
Will free agency be as busy as last year?
"We wouldn't think so. Our roster is in a different position. Our cap is different than it was last year. Last year we needed a lot of bodies, particularly on defense. We still need to get some players but the difference is we have some good players on our team. We have some players who we think with different coaching can get even better. Are we going to get involved with free agency? We will. We will probably not be involved in it to the same degree that we were last year."
Are you going to win the award for first guy signed?
"I don't know what the award is but it starts midnight tomorrow night so we'll see. Keep your cell phones on."
