Fiedler Breaks Thumb But Plays On

DENVER (AP)


Miami Dolphins quarterback Jay Fiedler broke his right thumb late in Sunday night's game against the Denver Broncos but still managed to engineer the game-winning drive.

A Dolphins spokesman said there was no immediate estimation how long Fiedler would be out.

Miami's Chambers Hurt in Helmet Hit

DENVER (AP)
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Chris Chambers had to be helped from the field Sunday night after taking a vicious hit to the head from Denver safety Kenoy Kennedy in the second quarter.

Chambers had a concussion, and the Dolphins said his return to the game was doubtful.
