the guy only did ELEVEN reps at his proday, after not working out at the combine.. no wonder he didnt work out.. he would have got laughed at for doing 11 reps.

and he ran an average of 4.51 on 3 runs. He was advertised to be much faster.. a 4.4 or lower guy.

Now, me personally.. i think he just tanked because he thinks he will go high no matter what.. but maybe, just maybe.. there is the slightest chance he may fall because of that pathetic showing..

:stupid:

Maybe he realizes because he is a safety he can only go so high in the draft and hence his enthusiasm is diminished?

4.5 is good enough for a safety. What did Roy Williams run?

We'll have to keep an eye out for the pro day workout on campus.

i think if he gets past detriot... there is a chance.. it is still slim.. but there is a chance.. and TD might make a move.

But we don't need another safety. Milloy and Wire would work fine. I'm not that high on Prioleau though.

We don't need a SS but we do need a FS! Sean Taylor would easily be the biggest playmaker in our secondary if we were able to acquire him.

Milloy is an FS, isn't he?

I could do 11 reps of 225. That doesn't say much for an NFL prospect.

You would forget all about that if he were to make plays on the field and he obviously plays stronger on the field.

i would love for wire to be able to play FS.. but apparently he doesnt have the coverage ability.

he isnt lifting weights on the field.. he is covering WRs, TEs, and making picks.. and that is what he is good at..

In years past, I would know every FA and all the draft info, but I can't get into it this year! I'm kinda like, TD knows what to do, he'll do it right! and if he wants to draft a FS at 13 then I'll be cool with it.

Very true. That is why I don't think this will hurt his draft stock much.

I see your point and I agree. I feel TD and Co. will do a hell of a job but I still get deep into that stuff, always have.

No, it's a ton of fun! I know it! I love this stuff, but this year, I'm not feeling it.

Probably the 1 and 2 year olds I have at home! I'm spending more time with them and less time following this stuff.

Hey, maybe when it all starts tomorrow I'll be ready to go! and I know I'll watch the first 2 rounds of the draft!

I hope he slips because of this. Who cares how many reps he did, the guy makes plays, something no one else in our secondary seems to do.

yeah taylor will be there at 13 being interviewed by the espn crew about going to detriot. A LOT OF REPS DON'T Matter to scouts when it comes to db's....Taylor is still a top 10 pick....

Sorry tonk.. wishful thinking on your part ....I guess you will have to settle for phillip rivers at 13....

That's the choice i think they would make right now ...but that could change... Not a bad second option

Maybe because no matter who we get we aren't winning anything with our washed up QB!

If he fell to #13 and the Bills select him, how much savings would there be to Cut Milloy? I know Milloy is a SS, but I think Wire could flourish playing with Taylor, Clements and a good replacement for Winfield. I just don't think it would be a good idea to have a lot of money locked up at the two safety positions. Milloy is slightly overpaid anyway.

We would have dead money if we released Milloy. Besides why would we do that after only 1 year?

how much dead money? What are the specifics?

I'm not dissapointed with his play. It is just a matter of where to pool your resources.

Also it would make signing Clements less likely, If fairly large contracts are had by the new CB, Milloy, and Talyor.

I just wouldn't lose a lot of sleep over plugging in Wire for Milloy. I know Wire isn't a huge gamebreaker, but how many INTs did Milloy have?

i know it is wishful thinking.. but we have a better chance now then if the guy did 32 reps and ran a 4.3. :D

we would suffer a big cap hit if milloy got cut.. in the range of 3 million... he got a 5 mill signing bonus.. on a 4 year deal.. so if he has 3 years left.. we would get hit up for 3.75 million.. ouch..

You could be right, and we may land him, but it really sounds like the Bills are gonna draft Rivers to me.
