With all the cap space- the best FA's have been locked up with a Franchise tag, reworked, or resigned by their clubs.

Good point Dozer. I hope the Bills get some good value in FA. I would love for them to make a run at John Kitna for maybe our 2nd round this year. Cut Bledsoe and Van Pelt. This would free up about 7 million not counting DB signing bonus in Nov. and Kitna's contact. I don't know if I could watch another year of Drew holding the ball 3-4 seconds than taking the sack. Keep brown as back up, Draft QB of the future.

I agree. The only signings so far are Thomas Jones and Jonathan Quinn.

Kitna isn't a FA. He's Bengal property and while Kitna is interested in leaving- the Bengals want him as insurance for Palmer. I think He's interested in the 49er QB position- he's got a relationship with Coach Errickson out there, his coach in Seattle.

No kidding! That's why I said give up a 2nd rounder for him. You don't give up draft picks for a free agent! :hamrhed:

The cowboys trade for Johnson is kind of odd given the number of good wide receivers in the draft that will be available to them. I wonder who they are thinking of drafting?

Says he would like to be traded to SF or to SD, but no trade has been mentioned by the Bengals to him. He just said that he would be interested if the opportunity presented itself.

They are trying to swap him with Joey Galloway, who also has a huge contract. You can't dump a receiver when you draft another. Also, to Parcells MEshawn is already proven.

Yahoo sports says that kinks have been hit in the trade tho, because the Bucs only are willing to pay Galloway $1 million for 1 year, and he made $6.6 mil with the Boys this past season. Talk about a pay cut!

Man, the Texans have been active this FA.
