To quote a famous saying: "Where's the beef???"

I know it's still early in the FA signing period but I have to ask....Where's the beef??

Come on TD. Get us somebody we can get excited about. The two signings so far aren't much to get excited about.

Really? He's not anything special (but I guess he's an upgrade compared to Stone Hands Winfield).

He's definitely an upgrade...at least for the next year or two.

Good point BAM. Vincent isn't a done deal YET. I kinda jumped the gun.

Troy Vincent has been to the Pro Bowl the past five years and has the stats to back it up. Sure, he is a little older but he is by no means ancient. What more "beef" would you want out of a single guy?

I am for Plummer too. But the reality is that Vincent has had much more success in his career than Plummer. Vincent is more of a proven commodity while Plummer has potential to be good for a longer time.

I'd be pretty excited if Vincent does sign.

Drew is still waiting for his body guard. Hope it's Woody.

The thing about Vincent..it makes sense. IMO, it means that we want to see Terrence McGee become the starter in a year or two, and I totally agree. If we sign someone like Plummer, it means that McGee will stay as the nickel back and never really get a chance for the starting job. Plus, Vincent can work with both McGee and Thomas to help them get better.
