Rich Eisen on NFL Total Access just reported (8:00 show) that the Bills and D. Woody are very close to a deal and it looks like it will get done. No link - I just saw it on TV. If you have NFL network, this show will be on several more times tonight.

Every time it's like this, TD gets his man.
I say we'll sign him.
Maybe the show is taped. I would love to see us pickup 2 quality O-linemen. I like the new line coach as well, our future is looking brighter.

Well around 10:30 am it seemed we were close to signing Woody then a few hours later Sports Illustrated pulled the story from there page and it was thought that Woody was in Detroit today and would be in Miami tomorrow. Now this.:dizzy::confused:

Dave Wannstadt was interviewed on the same episode of NFLTA a few minutes ago and said the Dolphins have a FA OLman visiting tomorrow.

This feels like 3 years ago as everyone's wondering who was going to be our HC. Marvin Lewis was to get the job, then no, then yes, then he's totally out.

I am not gonna believe anything on woody period til hes signed somewhere.
He kinda has the greedy look to him so I wouldnt be surprised if he goes somewhere else.

I'd like to see him in a Bills uniform but I'll be satisfied if he doesn't end up on another team in our division.
For a team that's in salary cap hell, the Dolphins are certainly active in free agency. Shouldn't they be concentrating on keeping their D intact?

I hope this deal gets done.
So let me clarify, we have already signed Chris Virerrial, now we are close to signing Damien Woody, and we also have a deal in place for Troy Vincent; I would say that today was a pretty good day.

No...Vincent's been with Philly since 96. The game I'm sure Doze's talking about was just a couple of years ago.

Thanks. Saves me from having to look it up. I knew Vincent's been in Philly quite a while, just wasn't sure exactly how long.
