I just want to know if anyone has heard any info about Ruben Brown??? Seems that no team has put any interest in him, of course, he is regarded as being overrated league-wide (I've always liked him though).

:feedback:

Oh and thanks to all those that welcomed me:urock:

i have not heard his name mentioned once.. so much for that "he goes to the top of the free agent guard list".. he will end up taking a major pay cut and go somewhere for like 1.5 a year.. he should have accepted the major pay cut.

Could he resign here if no interest? Better to play for peanuts than to not play at all right?

I can't believe no one has rushed to sign a Hall of Famer, don't you agree Juice?

He was willing to take a pay cut. I don't believe they offered him that choice.

He went into FA years ago and drew zero interest then too.

I remember that...I think he isn't the 310 lbs that is listed for him. I suspect he is probably below 300 lbs, and that is too small for a guard in the NFL now.

I think that if no one signs him, we are done with making are big free agent signings (Vincent, Jackson, and even Bruener), and if we have the cap room, we should sign him for much less then he was going to make for us. I know he is overrated but I think he is the kind of guy that good be good if surrounded by a good line which I feel we will have this coming season.

Ruben has to much pride to come back to the place that kicked him out!
