As I said in the other 6 threads about Satan  , we need to keep the team together, and make a run. Getting rid of Satan is telling the fans and the league "we quit".

95% he's staying? Did you post the wrong stories? There is nothing in those articles that say he's staying- I'd put it at 50-50

A playoff team is consistent.

Run or no run, Satan needs to be traded. He's been here too long and it shows. I'm not impressed with his goal scoring, half of them have been empty-netters or extra goals. He isn't scoring when it's most needed.

agreed, every team has bad games, but the Sabres put them in a position where they can't afford to have bad games.
They should move Satan because his bad attitude is going to be a cancer to the team...Move him to Pittsburgh...that will learn him.

His attitude just sucks lately. That phone stunt was ridiculous. I don't think I'd be upset if he got traded. I would love if we made the play-offs, but our future doesn't look so rosy right now.

Yep, and I also saw the game Saturday. The Leafs are going to the postseason, non? And speaking of, the Avs and Sharks are playoff bound, and neither is playing worth a crap this past week. I'm not saying the Sabres are a great team by any means, but with a few holes plugged (Blueline, more specifically), they can try. I'd have no qualms with Curtis being dealt.

That phone stunt was classic! The guy just scored a short-handed break away goal, he figures that should get Darcy's phone ringing at the deadline. He even said "Hello, Darcy?"
That's just too funny. Of course I don't want to see Satan go. Remember what we got for Hasek - a bag of whiney, injured, russian pucks. We won't get anything of value for Satan this close to the deadline. He'll go on to score 40 goals for another team, with a couple more stars than the Sabres.
Darcy couldn't decide if we are buyers or sellers. What a joke he has become.
Note to Golisano: Teams with great players make the playoffs. Teams with average players don't. Great players cost money.
So he lost 10 million this year. Big deal. He's worth over a Billion.
That's like me losing 3 grand in Vegas. It sucks, but that's the price of playing poker in the NHL.

We really cannot make too many assumptions until the CBA is resolved with about our teams future...

The New CBa Will Change alot thats a Well Known Given..
the Current CBA Screwed the NHL...
Well when you got a 15 goal scorer getting paid 5.2 million a year....then they wonder whats wrong................
